Parents/guardians are encouraged to notify the school office within 30 minutes after school begins if a student is absent. If the office is not contacted, an automated call to home will be made on the day of the absence. If this is unsuccessful, the student should have a written excuse signed by the parent/guardian upon his/her return to school after an absence.
